I’m a fourth-year business major with an emphasis in marketing. I grew up in the San Fernando Valley, and I’m the first in my family to go to college. I chose business as my major because I wanted to pursue a career that social and team-driven. After taking a statistics class, I became interested in marketing, where I became fascinated with manipulating data and applying it to real-life situations.

I chose Business / Economics as my major because I plan to start my own business in the future and feel that the Business and Economics program at CSUCI will give me the tools to succeed as an entrepreneur. A fun fact about me is that I work as a freelancer for a global fashion company as a content creator in which I style and model clothing and create their advertisements for Instagram and their website. As an MVS Student Ambassador, I would like to develop relationships with new and current Business and Economics students and provide the necessary resources. I would also like to create content for social media to reach a bigger demographic.

MVS Student Resources Brochure

We have created a brochure containing a list of resources, clubs and organizations, and services. The brochure includes contact information for clubs pertaining to Business and Economics. A few of the services and their descriptions include Academic Advising, Career Development, Student Support, and more. CiSync is an online platform that connects you with clubs and organizations at CI. We have provided these resources to help our incoming and current students succeed during their time at CI.

Series Presentation

During our time as MVS Student Ambassadors, we have put together a series of presentations. In these presentations, students learned what the MVS School of Business is about, how to get involved, an inside scoop on what it's like to be an MVS student, and how to succeed. Here is our Series 2 Presentation that served as an interactive presentation consisting of activities such as pitching your big idea and business-related polls.
